Condolences

Condolence From: Sue Mako
Condolence: Rest in peace Reather! I love you and treasure our friendship! I know you are with Jesus, in his loving arms and at peace.

Reather and I were friends dating back to 1992. We met at probation and parole and became field partners and friends! So many wonderful memories come to mind that it would take up the entire site. We enjoyed many dinners at the piano bar, Mexican, red lobster, etc... She was always so health conscience and was sure to ask them to prepare her dishes in the healthiest way. She was so kind, patient and understanding with me. Sometimes at her home I would be tired from working and caring for my kids that I'd fall asleep sitting up on the sofa and she would just let me rest. Reather was the best probation officer there ever was! Her log notes were meticulous and she was always very thorough, firm, fair and compassionate with the clients and their needs. Reather had the funniest sense of humor I've ever known. She could crack the funniest jokes and loved to laugh. She could complain as well! I remember her fussing over the lyropy growing in her yard! She was really over the house on queensbury and was so happy to move into the condo and enjoy a simpler life! She was so generous! She donated so much stuff to the needy! She loved her husband Bob and was so thankful to have enjoyed that year of retirement with him. She loved her son Mark and grandchildren ericka and Lane and would often tell me about them! And how proud she was of her son Mark and his accomplishments and her worries for him as all mothers worry for their children. She loved Jesus and her faith was important to her. She was so proud to become Catholic.

Thank you my dear and loving friend! You are beautiful and you are Gods child. I remember you told me I was your best friend. You were my best friend too and I love you. God bless you. Sue
