Scott Ean Macdonald, age 62, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd after nearly a year of battling brain cancer. Scott was born on June 5th, 1954, in San Bernardino California, to John and Gloria Macdonald.
Scott previously served in the United States Air Force and was a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Surgical Assistant program. He was employed at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center as a surgical assistant for 28 years and had great pride in his work. Scott was loved, admired, and will be dearly missed by the physicians and OR staff who closely worked with him over the years. Outside of work, Scott enjoyed his two passions for food and music. Nearly every weekend was spent, with family, enjoying a new culinary creation or the forever-favorite Mandarin Beef.
Scott is survived by his two loving daughters Brittany and Alex; his former wife Ginny; his siblings, Dana, Bruce and Cara Lee; and his nieces and nephew, Riley, Carter, and Ian.
Memorial services will held at 2:00 pm on April 1st at Family Choice Funerals. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, at Duke University.
