William Louis Agreste Sr, 92, went to join his wife and be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 18th, 2017 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. William was born on November 3rd, 1924 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Peter and Elizabeth Agreste and husband of the late Ann Agreste. William was a veteran of the U.S Army serving in WWII. After being wounded in 1946 he was Honorably Discharged from the U.S Army. He was an entrepreneur and a man of many talents. He owned hotels and restaurants in Virginia Beach and Uniontown and at one time owned the Dairy Queen franchise.
He is survived by Bill (Candy) Agreste (son), Sheryl (Nick) Russo (granddaughter), Gina (Jarrod) Highfield (granddaughter), Anthony (Virginia Serpico) Agreste (grandson), Nicholas Agreste (grandson) and Three great grandchildren Ashton, Jaden and Sophie, as well as numerous extended family members.
He was preceded in death by Ann Agreste (wife), Peter and Elizabeth Agreste (parents), Joseph Agreste (Brother), Lucille Faverio (sister).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 23rd, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Norfolk, VA.
Following the service, the family will be accepting guests at Sheryl's house at 3100 Barbour Dr. Virginia Beach 23456.
