Diana Berning, aka “Wonder Woman”, passed away on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 in Virginia Beach. She was born January 10th, 1941 in Bermuda and moved to Virginia Beach at the age of 10. She was the daughter of Fredrick and Edith Hollis, and wife of the late Henry L. Berning. Diana worked as a volunteer for Linkhorn Park Elementary, and was a strong supporter of the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad 14. When not volunteering, she was a bookkeeper for most of her life.
Diana is survived by a sister, two sons, a daughter, two grandsons, nieces and nephews, daughter -in- law and her dog Buddy. She is also survived by many, many friends, and to Wonder Woman if you were a friend then you were family.

Her family will host a memorial gathering with her extended family very soon. Details of this gathering will be shared with friends and family personally.
